Compassion Ministry

At our Compassion Ministry, we are dedicated to following Christ's command to love and serve others, inspired by Matthew 25:35—'For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink.' Our mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus by offering hope and practical help to those in need. We provide a weekly free meal to nourish both body and soul, and our Food Pantry supplies essential groceries to individuals and families facing hardship. Through these services, we seek to create a community where everyone is cared for, valued, and supported.

Jesus calls us to reach out to those in need. We are here to serve our community. Check out our caring ministries.

Food Pantry

We help local persons and families who are in financial distress by providing food. Our food pantry director, Susan Cunningham, maintains a food pantry in our Church House (office building). Pantry is open every Monday and Friday between 10 am and 1 pm.

A Weekly Dinner for Those in Need

Each Thursday evening, except the months of July and August, at 6:00pm we provide “grab and go” meals for those in need. This is hosted by our “Serving Our Savior” ministry in the gym of the Education Building. Folks from the community and our church family serve this meal. Please Note special Summer Hours: “grab and go” meals will be provided Thursdays: July 11, July 18, August 1, August 8, and August 15.

Disaster Relief

Our church buildings are an official disaster relief site. As with Superstorm Sandy our people organize to help those who are made homeless or are in severe need otherwise. The American Red Cross, Neighbors Helping Neighbors and other relief agencies provide clothing and other materials.

Regional Blood Bank

We sponsor blood drives at our church to help supply local blood banks.
